Carlton Collier

Carlton Collier has been responsible for the operations of the Parodneck Foundation and CATCH, Inc. since 2006.  Before joining CATCH in 1994 he accumulated over twenty years experience as an organizer with the District 1199 Hospital Union, the Banana Kelly Community Improvement Association, and other groups. Mr. Collier has extensive experience in the construction and non-profit management fields. His success in transforming an extremely troubled South Bronx building was featured in a two-part Los Angeles Times series in 1992.

Harold DeRienzo

General Counsel and Director of Compliance

Harold DeRienzo led the Parodneck Foundation from 1982 to 2006 as President. Prior to joining the Foundation, Mr. DeRienzo was the founding executive director of the nationally recognized Banana Kelly Community Improvement Association, Inc. Mr. DeRienzo holds a JD from the New York Law School, and a B.S. in Economics from Manhattan College. He has authored numerous articles on housing and social justice issues for New York Affairs, City Limits the National Civic Review, and other publications.

Betty Aguasvivas

Bookkeeper

Ms. Aguasvivas acquired a bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the Dominican Republic. She has worked with the foundation since 2003. She has become an important part of the Fiscal team.

Dalila Morales

Resident Specialist

Dalila Morales came to the organization from Mothers On the Move as a community organizer. In her current role as the Resident Specialist for CATCH she addresses housing issues, works closely with tenants organizing them around their repair issues, educating them on their tenant rights,  and connecting them to local, city-wide and national organizations.

DeWayne Robinson

Service Coordinator

Mr. Robinson has a degree in Social Work from Lehman College. He has over 30 years experience in Human Services. In his current role as Service Coordinator he is responsible for providing and monitoring all social services for the residents at Logan Gardens.

Dwayne Jones

Director of Lending

Dwayne Jones comes to Parodneck with a Community Lending background from Citigroup, combined with service as a non profit board officer focusing on community housing and development needs. He was educated in the Pacific Northwest at the University of Oregon where he received a BS Degree in Economics. Mr. Jones' primary focus with Parodneck is the financial and legal remediation of predatory loans as well as managing the Senior Citizens Housing Assistance Program(SCHAP).

Gerald Carter

Remediation Specialist

Gerald spent 16 years at Budget and Credit Counseling Services Inc, where he designed and directed their mortgage readiness department and spearheaded their community financial literacy outreach. He holds HUD Certified Credit Counseling Certification. He has extensive knowledge and experience with mortgage remediation and loss mitigation.

Ismael Laboy

Ismael Laboy came to The Parodneck Foundation in September of 2002 from El Puente de Williamsburg where he had worked as a bookkeeper for three years. He has an Associates Degree in Accounting from BMCC and is a fundamental part of Parodneck Foundation's Fiscal team.

Jamie Fenwick

Development Director

Jamie Fenwick has over thirty years of urban administration, healthcare management, and fundraising experience. He has worked with a wide variety of New York organizations in his twenty five years in the city, most recently at Greater Jamaica Development Corporation. He is a native of Montreal, originally trained as an engineer, and has two graduate degrees in city planning and urban management.

Noemi Aviles

Remediation Specialist

Ms. Aviles joined the Parodneck Foundation in January of 2009.  As a lending specialist, she is a Foreclosure & Default Intervention Counselor. She has  over 20 years of  credit and  underwriting  experience in  the banking industry. She has counseled and presented numerous cases on behalf of clients for loss mitigation. She has acquired several certifications in Income, Property/Underwriting and Real Estate  from New York University.

Octavia Brown

Intake Coordinator

Ms. Brown joined the Parodneck Foundation in January of 2009. As the initial contact person for the SCHAP program, she is responsible for addressing client concerns and assisting clients regarding program requirements.

Tadessech Scott

Project Manager

Tadessech Scott, Project Manager, has worked with CATCH since 2001, first as South Bronx Organizer and then as Field Supervisor. She received a BA in English and Political Science from SUNY Binghamton. Her previous job experience includes case management for a Manhattan social service agency. Ms. Scott is responsible for overseeing institutional development activities in all CATCH’s affiliated mutual housing associations, working with the property management company and tenant leadership, overseeing tenant relocation, and assisting with all development projects.

Tiana Scott

Organizer

In her current role as CATCH Organizer, she works closely with resident associations. She  assists  them with management  and repair issues and helps them  link to, and  utilize,  the resources of their community. Tiana is attending CUNY Brooklyn College and is working on her degree in psychology.

Thomasina White

Assistant Director of Compliance

Thomasina White has worked within the not-for-profit sector over 10 years and has over 20 years experience in Administration. She has been with the foundation since 1998 and has served in a  variety of programmatic and administrative positions. In her current role she is primarily responsible for servicing and compliance.

Virginia Ortiz

Administrative Assistant

Virginia has been with the Parodneck Foundation since 1997. With a Bachelors in Accounting from Lehman College, she started her work with Parodneck Foundation as a bookkeeper. She currently acts as the Financial Management Administrator, handling all of the money that comes into the foundation.  Virginia assists with loan processing and helps keep the office running smoothly.  In her current role she is the Administrative Assistant for Fiscal in the Administration/Customer Service department.
